In Paris, the Governor and participants of the working visit held a number of business meetings with the leadership of the French Federation of Entrepreneurs MEDEF International, the French Institute for Renewable Energy (IFP Energies nouvelles), with the Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in France Mikhail Makarov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the French Republic Alexei Meshkov.
During the meeting with entrepreneurs and the management of IFP Energies nouvelles, the parties outlined the avenues for cooperation in the field of increasing the labor productivity, exports of timber and nontimber forest resources, recycling and processing of solid municipal waste and industrial wastes.
Natalia Komarova and Didier Houssin, Chairman and CEO of IFP Energies nouvelles, signed a memorandum of cooperation on the development of modern innovative technologies in the development of hard-to-recover oil reserves.
The areas of interaction between the parties include the development and implementation of joint research programs and projects in the field of oil recovery enhancement; development and implementation of joint educational projects and programs in the oil and gas sector, including projects for the development of international educational standards and certification standards for oil and gas specialists; organization and participation in activities aimed at the improvement of the efficiency of activities in this industry.
Commenting on the results of the visit, Roman Genkel noted the high potential for the development of cooperation between Ugra and France in the implementation of investment projects in industry and tourism.
